For Publishers & Production Teams
When your producer or director can't be in the room, they can join the session remotely via Zoom to hear takes in real time and give direction alongside our engineer — useful for publisher-managed projects and multi-stakeholder productions.
Authors can record their own audiobooks. Publishers and other clients can bring a narrator they have already chosen. Hi-Tunes does not provide a narrator by default; let us know who will be reading so we can discuss the session arrangements.
Whether you want to record the entire manuscript or selected material, share the scope when you inquire. If this is your first audiobook, our author page explains the recording and production journey.
Audiobook recording for authorsRecording captures the narration during your studio sessions. Production and post-production cover the work that follows, including editing, mixing and mastering. These are related stages, with different project needs.
Tell us whether you need recording sessions only or would like to discuss production afterward. If your narration is already recorded, use the Audiobook Production page to explore the next step.

Audiobook recording captures the narration and performance with professional engineering. Your producer or director can participate remotely through Zoom or Source-Connect while your author or selected narrator records.
Tell us who needs to join, the desired session dates and the technical requirements of your outside workflow. We confirm the remote-direction arrangements before scheduling; Source-Connect compatibility and the recording plan are reviewed for your project.
If your project also includes professional voiceover recording, describe the script and intended recording work when you inquire. Book-length narration follows the audiobook pathway; voiceover requirements are reviewed separately.
