Yes. A professional engineer is present for every session, monitoring recording quality, levels, and consistency throughout.
Yes. Tell us whether you will narrate your own book or bring your chosen narrator. We can discuss the recording arrangements and applicable production work. Hi-Tunes does not provide narrators by default.
Yes. Producers and directors can participate remotely through Zoom or Source-Connect. Share the people involved and the technical requirements of your outside workflow so we can confirm arrangements before scheduling. Compatibility with every outside workflow is not assumed.
It depends on your manuscript length and pace. We'll talk through a realistic schedule, including whether your project needs a single session or a multi-day plan, before you book.
Yes. Editing and cleanup — removing mistakes, retakes, and background noise — is part of our audiobook production service.
Yes. Mixing and mastering are part of our audiobook production service, quoted individually based on your project's needs.
Yes. Our scheduling is built to accommodate multi-day recording projects for longer manuscripts.
Our studio is equipped with the Neumann U87 and Neumann TLM 103, along with professional preamps and monitoring.

Yes. You do not have to record at Hi-Tunes to inquire about editing, mixing, mastering and applicable post-production. Share your existing recordings and the work required for project review.
Recording captures the narration and performance. Production and post-production are the agreed work performed after narration has been recorded. You may inquire about recording, production or both.
Yes. We offer preparation for applicable ACX/Audible delivery specifications and requirements as part of the agreed production scope. Share your intended destination and requirements for review. Preparation does not guarantee acceptance or imply platform endorsement or partnership.
Quality control reviews recorded audio for issues that need attention and consistency across the project. The checks and any corrective work are defined in the agreed post-production scope.
Yes. Describe your script and professional voiceover recording requirements when you contact us. Audiobook recording remains the pathway for book-length narration, with authors or client-selected narrators.
